Preparation
Measure floor variation across the full cabinet footprint before installing feet. Identify the highest point—this will be your leveling reference.
Tools Checklist
- Spirit level (600mm+ length)
- Tape measure
- Power drill with bits
- Wrench for adjustment nuts
- Marking pencil
Installation Sequence
Step 1: Foot Positioning
- Place feet at all four corners
- Add center feet for cabinets wider than 800mm
- Maximum spacing between feet: 500mm
- Feet must be perpendicular to cabinet base
Step 2: Initial Setup
- Set all feet to mid-range adjustment height
- Secure feet using manufacturer-supplied hardware
- Verify all mounting screws are properly torqued
Step 3: Leveling
- Place cabinet in final position
- Start leveling from the highest floor point
- Adjust remaining feet upward only
- Check level in both directions simultaneously
- Once level, tighten all locking mechanisms
Step 4: Verification
- Re-check level after 24 hours (settlement period)
- Verify all feet contact the floor (no gaps)
- Confirm doors and drawers operate smoothly
